When you’re rolling with a group, picking the right ride makes all the difference for having a good time on the road. Renting a passenger van is hands down the smartest move for family vacations, airport runs, company events, or team sports trips. Instead of stressing over coordinating multiple cars, you get to pack everyone and all their luggage into one roomy ride that’s totally built for long-haul comfort.
At DL Rent, you’ll find passenger vans with crystal-clear terms, real photos, and all-in pricing with insurance already baked in. That means you can map out your trip with total peace of mind - no sketchy fine print, no last-minute surprises when you pick up the keys.
A passenger van is your best bet when extra seats and room to stretch out matter way more than driving something tiny. It’s awesome for big family getaways, road trips with friends, coworkers, guests visiting from abroad, or a whole crew heading to an event together. On longer drives, that extra breathing room is a total game-changer - especially when you’re hauling suitcases, baby gear, sports equipment, or bulky tech.
Rolling with a slightly smaller crew, but still want a high driving view and rock-solid handling? Take a look at our SUV rentals instead!
We’ve got top-notch options like the VW Transporter KOMBI 8+1 and the VW Touran 2.0 TDI DSG 7.
The VW Transporter is a 4x4 automatic with an 8+1 seating setup and the option to slap on an extra ski rack. In fact, DL Rent is the only rental company offering this exact model with this specific set of perks! It’s purpose-built for group travel, giving 8+1 passengers plenty of room for an ultra-comfortable shuttle or a big cross-country trek. The Touran, on the other hand, is a punchier, compact minivan - perfect for families who want lots of room without feeling like they’re steering a giant vehicle.
At DL Rent, we make grabbing and dropping off your van fit your schedule like a glove. Pick it up from our office, the airport, or any spot that works for you, or have us bring it straight to your doorstep or terminal to keep things easy for the group. Even better: zero airport fees in Plovdiv and Sofia!
This setup is super handy when picking up arriving guests, heading straight out from a hotel, handling a corporate transfer, or hitting the road at the crack of dawn. If you're planning on driving across the border, just shoot us an inquiry beforehand about renting a van for international travel. We’ll give you the lowdown on the paperwork, insurance requirements, and all the options for your route.
Just a heads-up: booking requires a refundable security deposit depending on the car class. You can check out all the deposit details and terms right HERE.
It couldn’t be simpler: choose your pick-up and drop-off spots, dates, times, and pick your favorite van from what’s available. From there, you can lock it in online or hit up the DL Rent team if you’ve got questions about luggage space, seating arrangements, driving abroad, or finding the absolute best fit for your crew.
With a solid, proven track record, DL Rent is a no-brainer when you want a transparent booking process, genuine photos of the exact car you’ll get (no annoying "or similar" nonsense), and top-tier service. Our pricing is straightforward, insurance is included, and our fleet is kept in tip-top shape so you can cruise on long drives without a single worry.
Check out our passenger vans, compare the models, and lock in the perfect ride for your passenger count, luggage pile, route, and comfort level!
Nope. Smoking inside our vehicles is strictly off-limits. If anyone lights up, a penalty fee will be charged.
If anything happens, give DL Rent a call immediately at the contact number on your agreement, and report it to the authorities by dialing 112. This is super important for getting the paperwork sorted properly and getting the insurance claim processed smoothly.
To drive a passenger van with up to 8+1 seats, a standard Category B driver’s license is all you need. However, to rent one from DL Rent, the driver must be at least 21 years old and have had their license for at least 3 years. We always recommend skimming our rental terms before booking just to make sure you're good to go.
